Alisha Fanning is the most genuine person I’ve ever met. It’s truly amazing how she cares about her patients. She is a rare find that I am blessed to have found. She has helped me and my daughter so much mentally and physically. In fact, we joke that our time with her is our therapy sessions - there sure is some truth behind that! I can honestly say Dr. Nick and Dr. Alisha saved my whole family. I had been suffering from debilitating nerve pain in my face. I tried numerous prescription medications and even surgery. A few years ago my Life Line screen results showed that I was in kidney failure. More than a little surprised, I sent the results to my primary care physician. When I did not hear anything back, I had additional blood tests run before my annual physical. I now knew what I was looking at and my kidney function was dropping. During my annual physical specifically asked about the results. Was told I was not ready for dialysis so there was nothing that could be done. That did not work for me. She made a few adjustments to my diet – no more energy drinks – a few vitamins, minerals, ongoing treatments and my kidney is now functioning normally for my age. It is amazing how much better I feel. It is also wonderful to know if the vitamins I am taking are working and are sufficient for my needs. At my last physical, my weight was down, my cholesterol was down and my kidney function was up – my primary care physician laughingly said I was reverse aging. Not a bad comment for a 77-year-old – would not be here without you Dr. Alisha.
